Welcome to the Ritten

One might almost think that it is just another mountain in South Tyrol. Yet the „Home“ mountain of Bozen is something special. It stretches from the sunkissed vineyards in the valley below, right up to the Rittner Horn at 2,200 metres. Much of the diverse vegetation on the sunny plateau is unique, from larch woods to the alpine meadows.

We at the Steidacherhof lie between them at 800 metres.

You  are heartily welcome among all this Nature.

IT is good to eat cherries together...

We have 6 acres planted with our favourite cherries. Perhaps you will also find them delicious.

It is one of our unforgettable Highlights to take a picnic out under the lush cherry blossoms which are at their most beautiful in the middle of April.

The harvest is from the beginning to the end of July.

AN APPLE A DAY KEEPS THE DOCTOR AWAY

We are happy to take you with us to experience nature and tradition at Steidacherhof.

We offer tastings of our high-quality wines and tours of the farm and cellar on request.

During the weekly apple tours, we tell a lot about the history and cultivation of the apple. The crowning conclusion is the tasting of different apple varieties and refreshing apple juices.

Let us begin by taking a look at the three modern authentic apartments that are waiting for you. Traditions have been maintained and the design preserves them, remaining pleasant, personal and relaxing.

By the way, from the Ritten you have the most beautiful view of the Dolomites. Anyone who has seen them knows why they are a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
